GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – A man wanted in the murder of his cousin turned himself in to police at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.

Garfield Heights police said that Rodney L. Roberts walked into the police station and was arrested without further incident.

A warrant for Roberts’ arrest was issued after he allegedly shot and killed his cousin inside of a home on the 13500 block of Saybrook Avenue in Garfield Heights Wednesday night.

According to reports, 30-year-old Roberts became upset after an argument and shot the victim, 37-year-old Calvin Jackson, several times before taking off.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
