CASE 1 – Anthony: Police fired two shots at Anthony as he fled a house wearing only boxer shorts.
Police received a call in 2013 of two armed assailants holding several people inside a home. Officers arrived and encountered a man, identified as Anthony, who was wearing only boxer underwear and running from the house toward the officers. A sergeant, who reported that he believed Anthony had a weapon “because he elevated his arm and pointed his hand toward him,” fired two shots at him.
