Partners who are dependent on their spouses’s income are up to three times more likely to cheat.
According to the study, there’s a 15 percent chance that men will cheat if they don’t earn any income, whereas it’s only 4 percent if they’re the sole breadwinner. Earning 70 percent of the income tended to be the sweet spot for guys, which is when there was only a 2.9 percent chance of infidelity.
