Thinking about getting breast implants? Think again.

A new study is suggesting that women who undergo breast augmentation are 3x more likely to commit suicide 10 years following the surgery. Shocking, right? Furthermore, they’re more likely to succumb to alcoholism and drug abuse.

This research comes to us from the journal Annals of Plastic Surgery. Here are the details: Nearly 3,600 Swedish women with breast implants were followed for about 19 years. And what they did find after all that time? Their death rates were much higher compared to the rest of the Swedish population.
