Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of TLC has filed a lawsuit against Atlanta Highline Consulting LLC, a car and truck brokerage firm owned by Joshua William Waddell, demanding the return of $27,500 she said she paid for a Cadillac Escalade EXT that was never delivered.

Court documents filed on Sept. 8 and obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reveal Chilli wired Waddell $10,000 on Oct. 10, 2014 and $17,500 on Oct. 23, 2014 for a total of $27,500, but the vehicle was never delivered. On April 2, 2015, Thomas demanded a full refund of the funds she paid Waddell, but she never received the money or the Caddy, which retails for over $82,000 fully loaded, according to reports.

Chilli appeared with fellow TLC singer Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins in June at Philips Arena during a summer tour with New Kids on the Block and Nelly.

TLC was the focus of the 2013 VH1 documentary, “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story,” which is now at the center of a bitter lawsuit with the group’s former manager Pebbles.
