Adele’s newest album has been on the shelves for a few days and it’s already close to breaking records.  Adele’s “25” sold two-point-three million copies in its first three days and is expected to hit two-point-nine million by the end of the week. The “Hello” singer stopped by during Monday night’s episode of “The Tonight Show” where she performed an all-new song called “Water Under the Bridge.”

Only one other record has ever sold more than two-million copies in a single week since Nielsen Music started tracking sales in 1991.  NSYNC’s “No Strings Attached” holds the current record with two-point-four million sold in one week in 2000.
