T.I. has experienced moderate success as an actor, most notably for his 2006 film “ATL.” The 35-year-old rapper is about to face his biggest acting challenge yet — according to Variety, he is joining the cast of the A&E Network’s reboot of “Roots,” the 1977 TV miniseries based on Alex Haley’s 1976 novel.
