DANVILLE, OH (WXIX) –
A man is in custody after allegedly shooting and killing a Danville, Ohio police officer after he told his ex-girlfriend that he was looking to kill a cop, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say a woman contacted the dispatch center around 11:20 Sunday night and told officials that her ex-boyfriend, Herschel Jones III, had left with weapons and was looking to kill an officer.
