Lana being carried by an FBI agent

LORAIN – Two-year-old Lana Lowther, from Lorain, has been found safe.

According to Lorain police, she was in good condition when they found her just after 1 a.m. near Missouri and Cleveland Avenue. She was transported by EMS to Mercy Regional Medical Center.

Captain Roger Watkins told Fox 8’s Suzanne Stratford that family, friends and neighbors were all interviewed.

There were helicopters up and they are used thermal imaging to look throughout the woods for any signs of body heat.

FBI agents were on the scene as well.

Captain Watkins also said that an Amber Alert was not issued because it does not meet the criteria.
