2T tahini

2 tsp lemon juice

1 small clove garlic or garlic powder

A few dashes onion powder (opt)

1T nutritional yeast (opt)

A few dashes of Braggs Aminos or soy sauce

Water for thinning

Bowl Ingredients

Cooked quinoa or brown rice

Chopped raw kale or red cabbage

Pinto beans (suggested preparation: toss with nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and Bragg’s liquid aminos to taste)

Chopped tomatoes

Chopped green onions

1/2 roasted sweet potato

Toasted almond slivers

1/4 c. Chopped cilantro

Smoked paprika (optional)

Directions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until creamy and smooth.
  2. Assemble your Buddha Bowl: In your favorite bowl (you know the one that makes you smile) layer as follows: Quinoa or brown rice, chopped raw kale and or chopped red cabbage, pinto beans, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, ½ sweet potato, toasted almond slivers, and chopped cilantro.
  3. Sprinkle with smoked paprika, if using.
  4. Relax, inhale the fragrance of the bowl, give thanks and eat!
