A Warrensville Heights woman has become the focus of a police investigation in Cleveland after her body was found on some railroad tracks on the city’s east side.

The Medical Examiner confirmed a body found Monday afternoon was that of Jessica Coleman.

Coleman’s body was found in the area of E. 82nd and Kinsman.

Coleman had been reported missing. Family members say she had not been seen since Sunday evening when she left a party in South Euclid.

The Warrensville Heights police say Coleman’s car was found at her home and her purse was inside. Police say her home may have been broken into and her cell phone is missing.

According to Warrensville Heights police, Cleveland’s Fourth District took over the Coleman case around 5:00 p.m.

Sources say her death is being investigated as a homicide.

Ohio BCI is also assisting in the investigation.
