AKRON, Ohio — Detectives are investigating a double murder on Akron’s west side.
Authorities say it happened around 10 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Hartford Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a 28-year-old man dead in an upstairs room. He had been shot.
The victim’s mother, a 48-year-old woman, was also shot. She died at Akron General hospital, after declaring three male suspects entered the house and fired multiple shots.
