Two people were killed in a murder-suicide at UCLA on Wednesday, prompting a campus wide lockdown.
Reports claim that engineering professor William Klug was shot and killed by an unidentified student who then took his own life, sources told NBC4. Why he was killed has yet to be confirmed, but news reports claim his death was a direct result of an unwanted grade.
Klug was married and had two young children. Meanwhile at this time, all we know about the shooter is that he was male and a possible graduate student at the college. A gun and a note were found near the bodies, said LAPD Chief Charlie Beck at news conference.
On of Klug’s students spoke out about the shooting.
