The first major documentary about legendary entertainer Sammy Davis, Jr. has released a first trailer ahead of its premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Directed by Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Sam Pollard, “Sammy Davis, Jr.: I’ve Gotta Be Me” delves into Davis’ personal life and career as he navigated through the shifting tides of civil rights and racial progress during 20th century America.
