Jay-Z sat down with The New York Times’s executive editor, Dean Baquet to talk about his marriage to Beyonce, his crazy relationship with Kanye West, some therapy and politics.
In the long relationship, you know, hopefully when we’re 89 we look at this six months or whatever time and we laugh at that. You know what I’m saying? There’s gonna be complications in the relationship that we have to get through.
When talking about his upbringing and how it plays apart in his marriage, he says, “In my case, like it’s, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity …” He also talks about the two working on a joint album.
He also discusses the current status of his publicized, issued filled relationship with Kanye West saying, “I talked to Kanye the other day, just to tell him, like, he’s my brother. I love Kanye. I do. It’s a complicated relationship with us.”
