Florida Town Of Parkland In Mourning, After Shooting At Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Kills 17

Their motto is #NeverAgain and they are calling for tougher gun control laws.

On Saturday, as many as 500,000 people, mainly high school students, are expected in the nation’s capital for the so-called “March for Our Lives Rally.”

The event begins at noon with speeches and performances including Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato

Lakewood High School students Sarah Pepe and Isabella Bryson have arranged a bus for 54 people.

“We learn that if you do something over and over again and it doesn’t work, you have to try something new,” Pepe said. “It just seems like the obvious step is to fix it.”

Bryson said the students in Parkland, Florida, where 17 people were massacred last month, inspired her.

“If they can inspire me to get up and do something, then maybe I can inspire others around me to get up and do something too,” she said
