Former Maple Heights standout, Shaq Washington is hoping for another Championship run under the reign of head coach this season. (Source: Plain Dealer)

via Cleveland19:

The Maple Heights Mustangs football team may have the youngest coaching staff in the state.

The majority of the staff is in their early 20s, led by former school standout, Shaq Washington.

He was a quarterback at Maple Heights, but Washington switched his position to receiver in college.

The 25-year-old wrapped up his college career at the University of Cincinnati in 2015.

Washington finished as the all time leader in receptions with 238.

Returning to his hometown, he’s now the head coach of his alma mater, taking over the reigns from Devlin Culliver.
