The City of Cleveland is getting a whole lot stricter when it comes to their trash collection rules.
Making a mistake could cost you a $100 fine beginning Aug. 1.
The City of Cleveland has been issuing warnings up until now.
The basic four rules are:
- Don’t mix your trash with your recyclables.
- Don’t put extra trash outside of the roll cart when it’s not a bulk collection day.
- Roll carts should not be placed out earlier than 12 p.m. the day before the collection.
- Roll carts should be brought back in by 12 p.m. the day after collection.
