After irresponsibly congratulating the R&B artist, Mary J. Blige, on her first pregnancy, fashion magazine Marie Claire issued an apology for reporting false information in the May issue.
Marie Claire reported the news before actually confirming its validity. Their statement reads:
“In the May issue of Marie Claire, we erroneously reported that Mary J. Blige is expecting a baby with her husband this summer. This is not the case and we apologize for any upset or offence this may have caused.”
The singer has been married to Kendu Isaacs since 2003. She is currently the stepmother of his three children from a previous marriage. She commented recently that she is not planning on having children any time soon, but is not opposed to it.
