After speculation that Nicki Minaj and Cardi B weren’t very fond of each other, it has been confirmed. According to TMZ, the two almost came to blows during a Harper Baazar’s ICON party during New York Fashion Week.

In a video that is making itsw ay around the internet, Cardi looks to have lunged at Nicki in a crowded lobby. They were quickly separated before the fight turned ugly. Cardi was then seen throwing one of her shoes at Nicki. The quick scuffle ended with the Bronx rapper’s dress being torn in the back and left her with a lump on the side of her forehead.

Cardi was reportedly escorted out of the party.

Cardi vented via Instagram after the altercation, saying that Nicki has been “sneak dissing” and lying on her while also telling other artists that if they work with her she would no longer work with them.

All seemed to be well after the two were pictured having small talk at the Met Gala, this year, but somehow things have gone left. When Cardi opened up the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, many thought she took a subtle jab at Nicki during her monologue.

“Welcome to New York, everybody! I am the empress,” she said to the crowd. Since Nicki released her fourth album entitled Queen not too long ago, it seemed like Bardi was throwing shade at her fellow femcee.

During an interview with Ebro Darden on Apple’s Beats 1 Radio, the “Barbie Tingz” rapper said she was unsure of where she and Cardi stood.

“I didn’t know Cardi and I had an issue, but I guess we do since you’re saying and other people are saying it,” Minaj said. “To me, she may have taken an issue with things that I’ve said, but I’m not going to bite my tongue. You gotta have thick skin. People talk s–t about me all the time.”

Well, looks like their beef has officially begun.
