Thousand are without power, Thursday night at strong winds hit Northeast Ohio.

According to FirstEnergy’s website,nearly 5,000 of their customers are without power. Richland, Lake and Cuyahoga Counties are among the areas most impacted by the outages.

According to the company’s website, power is expected to be restored within two to three hours.

Cleveland Public Power took to social media to address the outages, saying that their crew were working to resolve the problem

A wind advisory was issued for the following counties,Thursday evening, and remains in effect until Friday at 3 a.m.

Cuyahoga Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, Lorain, Erie, Sandusky, Ashland and Richland
