Very cold wind chills, as low as 15 below zero, are expected across portions of north central, northeast and northwest Ohio.

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and wind will combine to create low winds chills. The NWS advises frostbite and hypothermia could occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure to wear a hat and gloves. See an official Wind Chill Chart from the NWS on our Winter Weather Guide here.

The areas under the Wind Chill Advisory include: Lucas, Wood, Ottawa, Sandusky, Erie, Lorain, Cuyahoga, Hancock, Seneca, Huron, Medina, Summit, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Marion and Morrow, and include the cities of Toledo, Bowling Green, Port Clinton, Fremont, Sandusky, Lorain, Cleveland, Findlay, Tiffin, Norwalk, Medina, Akron, Upper Sandusky, Bucyrus, Mansfield, Ashland, Wooster, Marion, and Mount Gilead.
