Last Thursday night was sort of a crowning moment for Megan Thee Stallion. The H-Town Hottie not only sold out Warehouse Live, had 300 Entertainment CEO Kevin Liles at a loss for words and had the Hotties reciting her lyrics back at her bar for bar.
It was also a moment of remembrance for the “Big Ole Freak” rapper. She paused to remember her mother, Holly Thomas who passed away last month due to a brain tumor. Although fans saw only a glimpse of the tribute video, Megan posted the full video on Instagram, captioning, “I still really don’t believe she’s not physically here with me… but every day I wake up I still act like she is.”

I didn’t get to show the full video I had of my mom and I last night at my show but here is some of it 💙 I still really don’t believe she’s not physically here with me…but every day I wake up I still act like she is. Before every show I just imagine what she would say to hype me up and I make sure I go kill shit. I love you Hollywood 💙💙💙
“Y’all know 2019 has been a tough year for me,” she on stage “I didn’t want to cancel my shows or stop going hard because that’s not what my mom would want me to do. I just wanted to share this video of me and my momma and all the s*** we was doing up until now.”
Despite the setbacks and more, “Big Ole Freak” is expected to land on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, just as another Megan feature, the “Talk (Remix)” with Khalid and Yo Gotti debuts and she teased a new collaboration with Juicy J.
