How many of you have said that line to your best friend or home boy when they are going through something “No matter what I got you” ?  But what happens when that friend needs you to give them something that you don’t feel comfortable giving?  Does that make you a bad friend?  A Liar?  Or a realist?

A lady has a friend that is going through and she needs her to co-sign for a car.  However when she said whatever I need I got you, she forgot to add the clause that says with stipulation, so she reached out to Sam Sylk, radio host of The Sam Sylk Show on 93.1 WZAK during his daily 1 pm Reality Hour segment, for some help.

Check out below whether Sam Sylk told her to co-sign or lose a friend below.

Dear Sam

My very dear friend has fallen on some hard times. She has 3 kids and her husband passed away a year ago. Her car recently broke down and she went to buy a car but needs a co-signer. She asked me would I co-sign. But I’m afraid too, so I have been kind of stalling her. She kind of went in on me about me saying that “whatever you need I got you”, but I guess I didn’t anticipate something like this. Am I wrong if I don’t help her get a car? Is this worth possibly losing my dear friend?
