Dear Sam
My brother and his wife were married for 10 years, they had been having marital problems for quite some time always arguing. About a year age my brother became physical with her. She is okay and it hasn’t happened again but she took the kids and has left him and is getting a divorce. I’m pissed off at my brother because he wouldn’t seek any counseling for his physical abuse but yet an still he wanted her to stay. My parents are upset because they feel she should have tried harder to make it work. So they have pretty much cut off contact with her and have even welcomed my brothers “girlfriend” in with open arms. My sister-in-law doesn’t want the kids around none of them now, but she does allow me to come and see the kids, however now my parents are mad at me and feel I should be supporting “the family”. I love my family but to me right is right and wrong is wrong. What should I do, because my family is now shutting me out?
