About 1,000 stores in the Dollar Tree chain will begin selling alcohol, the company announced today.
It will also expand freezers and coolers at 400 of its Family Dollar stores, the Virginia-based chain said. Dollar Tree bought Family Dollar in 2015.
Recently, it was announced that nearly 400 Family Dollar stores will close. About 200 Family Dollars will be re-branded as Dollar Tree.
