Oprah Winfrey revealed the thought of rebooting her iconic talk show has definitely crossed her mind.
It’s been nearly a decade since the final episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” aired, but Winfrey still misses her time as a daytime host.
“I would love to make that happen, let me tell you,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “But maybe not every day. For 25 years, it was perfect.”
Winfrey’s long-running talk show was known for its inspirational stories, celebrity interviews and extravagant giveaways. Winfrey’s show helped to establish her as one of the most influential people on television and the world.
“The only time I missed [the show] was during the election or when something really big happens in the news. I think, ‘Oh gee, I wish I had a show,’ ” Winfrey said.
Recently, Winfrey was in Toronto promoting her new book, “The Path Made Clear: Discovering You Life’s Direction and Purpose.” To help others find their path in life, the proceeds from her book sales will go towards the Boys and Girls Club of Attala County, Mississippi, where she grew up.
