The Henderson family from Cleveland will take on the Beals family of Long Beach, Calif., during the episode of “Family Feud” airing at 9 a.m. Friday, May 14, on WOIO Channel 19. Harold Henderson of Woodmere is joined on the game show stage in Hollywood by his sister Valadia Henderson of Cleveland, brother Rodney Henderson of Warrensville Heights, sister Tiffany Henderson of Warrensville and sister Marlene Lawson, of Charlotte, N.C.

“It has been a dream of ours to go on ‘The Feud,’ ” said Tiffany Henderson, a private banker. “If we win, we want to take a family vacation to Hawaii.”

Harold Henderson works in manufacturing. Valadia Henderson is a teacher. Rodney Henderson is a bus driver. And Marlene Lawson is a human resources representative.

John O’Hurley has been the host of “Family Feud” for four seasons. He will be replaced in September by Steve Harvey, who grew up on Cleveland’s east side.

Harvey, a Glenville High School graduate (class of ’74), was once a regular in the Dawg Pound at the old Cleveland Stadium. One of the original Kings of Comedy (a tour started in 1997 with the late Bernie Mac, D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer), he was the host of the Los Angeles area’s top-rated radio show from 2000 to 2005. “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” now is based in New York.

He also starred as a Chicago high school teacher in “The Steve Harvey Show,”
