CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 17-year-old was shot and police arrested seven young adults Sunday evening on the East Side.
Police were called about 6:50 p.m. to the 4100 block of East 108th Street, where officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Witnesses said a group of young men was fighting when the shots were fired. The group then split up and left in a gold Grand Am and a blue van.
Patrol officers found the blue van with six men and a woman inside.
Tony Holloway, 22, Jule Holloway, 21, Damon Utley, 19, Otis Jackson, 19, Terance Dix, 19, Cortez Blair, 20, and Akira Hubbard, 21, were arrested.
The Grand Am was not located.
