Dear Ask The Black Man,

I was at a wedding not too long ago for one of my buddies from college. It was a great time. One of his sisters asked for my information because she wanted to talk to me about something based on the career that I am in. I gave her my information and a few days later she called me. Instead of asking me about something job related she asked to hang out and go on a date and said she wants nothing serious. She is extremely attractive but I do not see anything-long term with her. I also do not feel right about it because it my friend’s sister. Something like this has never happened to me. What should I do?

The Black Man:

Hi Confused Terrence,

Most situations that deal with dating a friend’s sibling without any serious intentions, do not end up with positive results. They mostly lead to drama and friendships can be severed because of it. If you are not looking for anything serious with her, even though she is not either, it is not worth it. I would date someone else. There are plenty of fishes out in the sea. Go with your gut. If it does not feel right then don’t do it.

That’s my 99 Cents Worth.
