Many communities are partnering with neighboring cities or combining firework displays with their community festivals this year. Some cities also offer additional entertainment before their fireworks show and/or on days surrounding July 4.

Here is a listing of when and where you can find fireworks shows in Northeast Ohio in 2010:

 

 

 

Akron— July 4, 9:45 p.m., Lock 3, as the finale of the Akron Symphony Concert, which begins at 8 p.m. There will be no display over the Innerbelt.

Alliance—July 4, at dusk, Dusk Silver Park

Ashtabula – July 4, 10 p.m., Geneva-on-the-Lake Municipal Golf Course

Ashland—July 4, 9:30 p.m., Community Stadium

Aurora—July 4, at dusk, Sunny Lake Park. Rain date July 5.

Brecksville— A short show on June 26 and the main event on June 27, both at 10 p.m., Brecksville Town Square. Part of Homedays Festival.

Brunswick—July 3, at dusk, at the Brunswick High School. Rain date is July 5.
