Hall of Famer: Kenny Lofton was inducted into the Indians Hall of Fame before Saturday’s game. Indians Hall of Famers Bob Feller, Sam McDowell, Mike Hargrove, Andre Thornton, Sandy Alomar Jr. and Charlie Nagy were on hand to honor him.

Lofton walked in from center field, after unveiling his plaque behind the center-field fence, to a standing ovation. In his acceptance speech, he guaranteed Indians fans a championship.

He took a victory lap around the field sitting in the back seat of a Mercedes Benz convertible. Almost every Indians player was on the top step of the dugout applauding Lofton as he passed. Twins players applauded as well.

Britni Elise, a singer in Lofton’s production company, sang the national anthem.
