This is the largest lottery jackpot in world history! Cleveland Police are investigating a carjacking that resulted in a shooting. Cleveland Police were called out to 14220 Edgewood Avenue around 12:30 am for shots fired. Officers arrived and found shattered glass and blood on the roadway. While investigating, officers received word that a male was shot at that location but relocated to 14201 Harvard Avenue.

LYNDHURST, OH (WOIO) - A massive fire in a Lyndhurst apartment complex Thursday afternoon. The blaze started around 1pm at the Acacia Park Apartment complex located off Cedar Road and I-271, just east of Beachwood Mall. Dominion Officials tell 19 Action News, a water-proofing contractor was working at the complex and struck a gas line. That then sparked the blaze.

OHIO (WOIO) - The Mega Millions jackpot has reached historic proportions. With no jackpot winner in Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot for March 30, 2012 is an estimated $500 million. This is the largest lottery jackpot in world history, surpassing the previous record of $390 million. If one ticket matches all six numbers for the half-billion dollar mega-jackpot, the winner would have the choice of receiving the full jackpot in 26 annual payments of about $19.2 million, or a cash option of approximately $359.4 million.

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) - A 27-year-old male was shot and killed during a police involved shooting Thursday morning. According to Geauga County Sheriff's Lt. Hiscox, Ryan Sever was shot around 4am in the area of North Street and Allynd BLVD. He died from injuries. Geauga County Sheriff's will be assisting Chardon Police with their investigation.
