AKRON, Ohio — It was back in the early morning hours of May 15 that firefighters in Akron were called out to 693 Fultz Street. They found the house fully engulfed in flames.

We would later learn that two adults and five children died in that fire, a fire that police believe was arrest. The Summit County Coroner ruled that all seven died of smoke inhalation.

The seven who died were father Dennis Huggins, mother Angela Boggs and children Cameron Huggins, Alivia Huggins, Kylle Huggins, Daisia Huggins and Jered Boggs. A sixth child, Brittany Boggs, 18, was not home at the time of the fire.

A memorial service was held at noon Saturday for the Boggs-Huggins family. Watch in the player below.

As the investigation continued, police searched several houses in the neighborhood in connection with the fire.

Donations for the family poured in through a GoFundMe account, which easily exceed its goal.
