Nicki Minaj is reportedly closing in on an $8 million deal to join “American Idol” as a judge for season 12, a source close to the Fox show tells The Hollywood Reporter.
TMZ is reporting that “American Idol” judge Mariah Carey hung up the phone when she was informed that Nicki Minaj is also being considered for the panel.
