It’s that time of the year again. I love Easter time–from the pastel colors and pretty dresses to Easter egg hunts and the infamous bunny.

When I was growing up, my mom always went all out for Easter. We would wake up to huge Easter egg baskets and breakfast. Then we would go to church, followed by a Easter egg hunt and a huge home cooked meal. She always made it so special and memorable.

To attempt to follow in her footsteps, I am gearing up for this eventful day. I already have the Easter attire and I found a great Easter egg hunt that is sponsored by the Miami Sea Aquarium.

I also recently read the April 2001 issue of Martha Stewart and they had some really good ideas in there.  Definitely going to try make glitter eggs and might attempt to make paper flowers. Both which can double as kid craft activities. I also found this great link with 100 craft ideas, so we will see what else I can come up with.

My menu is almost set and you better believe that lamb chops are on the menu. Now, all I need to do is work on the Easter egg basket and I will all be set. I think I might give my mom a run for her money! We shall see.

Happy Easter everyone and enjoy!
