The ‘G Shot’: Would You Get an Injection For Better Sex?

We’ve used collagen for plumping lips or reducing wrinkles–but how about increasing sexual satisfaction? We’re not kidding–some women are now choosing to inject their “G-Spot” with collagen (aptly named “G-Spot Amplification”) in hopes of a better sex life.”G-Shot” is the brainchild of gynecologist David Matlock and grew out of a medical procedure done for women who are incontinent. The theory is simple. A larger G-Spot gives your partner a larger target to hit. Which theoretically equals more vaginal orgasms for you.

You’re already speed-dialing your gyno, right? Well, wait, there’s more. The collagen is human engineered (read: tissue of a corpse) and is injected into the vagina with a long sharp needle. After, you know, you masturbate in front of your doctor to make sure he or she hits the right spot. And, like with any procedure, there are possible side-effects, ranging from bleeding to the sensation of “always being aroused.”

Well, then!

Does it actually work? Well, according to the company’s website “a pilot study” (no sourcing information listed) found 87% of women surveyed after receiving the G-Shot reported enhanced sexual arousal/gratification. They’re quick to add, though, “results do vary” and that the procedure is only for “normally sexually functioning women.”

If you go to their website, definitely check out the testimonials. One woman even boasts how she now gets sexually aroused during yoga. Another crows that her “G-Spot is always present and ready for action at a moment’s notice.”

It costs $1,200 for the shot, which lasts four months.

Would you consider getting a G-Shot? What do you think of the injection? What tricks do you use to spice up your love life?
