Singers Brandy and Ray J. Norwood have been in the entertainment business for most of their lives. And like Diddy, they don’t intend to stop anytime soon.

Brandy was nearly a finalist on “Dancing With the Stars,” ousted in a controversial decision that left a far less talented Bristol Palin in the running. Brother Ray J.’s single, “Last Wish,” is out now, from his upcoming “Raydiation 2” CD due next year. But what folks didn’t know until the first season of “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business” was just how much work it takes to stay on top in today’s entertainment industry and the toll that it can take on families.

From Brandy’s often challenging relationship with her mother and manager, Sonja, to Ray’s irresponsible behavior, it seems that staying on top in entertainment is more than just showing up at the studio. And given that VH-1 has cornered the market on entertainment reality shows, it’s no surprise that the Norwood’s business has become everyone’s business.

And yes, they’re back for Round Two. “Brandy and Ray J: Family Business” begins its second season on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 11 p.m.

The good news for fans is that both Brandy and Ray J. are back in the studio working on their respective albums. Brandy will also take viewers through more inside scenes of her “Dancing with the Stars” experience, while Ray tries to settle down with a girlfriend (Yeah, you probably know how that’s going to go.). Ray also collaborates with Ludacris, Rodney Jerkins and Gucci Mane on his “Raydiation 2” CD, but his focus on his career starts to splinter his family relationships, especially with his sister.

And of course, momager Sonja can be counted on for her no-nonsense take on all of the above.
