Halle Berry and Idris Elba join Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman, Colin Firth, and James Franco as 68th Annual Golden Globe Award nominees.Berry, earning her fourth Golden Globe nomination overall, following nods for ‘Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Monster’s Ball and Their Eyes Were Watching God,’ was nominated for ‘Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture – Drama Tuesday.
Elba, whose credits include the summer 2010 blockbuster ‘Takers’ and ‘The Wire,’ earned a nomination for ‘Best Performance By An Actor In A Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made For Television’ Tuesday. Joining fellow nominees Dennis Quaid (The Special Relationship), Edgar Ramirez (Carlos), Al Pacino (You Don’t Know Jack), and Ian Mcshane, Elba’s nomination stems from the BBC series ‘Luther’.
The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards air Sunday, February 16 on NBC.
