NBC says the series “Parenthood” will stay put on Tuesday night for the rest of the season, which will delay the return of “Law & Order: Los Angeles.”

“Parenthood” was scheduled to move and make way for the new “Law & Order” series to return in February. But a bump in the ratings for “Parenthood” at 10 p.m. EST Tuesday are helping it to keep the time slot.

“Law & Order: Los Angeles” now will wait in the wings for a day and time to be announced. The crime drama is undergoing cast changes for its return, including the announced departure of Skeet Ulrich.

NBC also said Tuesday that the new reality show “America’s Next Great Restaurant” will debut a week earlier, on March 6, delaying the second-season start of “The Marriage Ref” to an unspecified date.
