Producers for the upcoming biopic about Hip Hop Legend Tupac Shakur are holding an open casting call for the lead role. http://www.insearchoftupac.com will be launched on March 21 in hopes of locating an Actor with the most appeal. Dave McNary of variety.com wrote this:
“The site asks applicants to download a 24-line scene, read the scene on-camera and perform their favorite Tupac song/rap on camera for no more than one minute. Submissions will be accepted through April 30.”
This should be an interesting film and with the added twist of a possible unknown star as the lead, count me in as a opening weekend movie go-er!
