CLEVELAND – A Bedford woman was arrested after police say she prank called her boyfriend about gunshots at Cleveland City Hall.

Cleveland police responded to 601 Lakeside Ave. around 9:40 p.m. Friday.

Police said 30-year-old Rhodia Wallace was working at city hall when she called her boyfriend and said there were shots fired inside the building. The boyfriend called police and soon emergency workers arrived on the scene.

Authorities soon found out it was just a prank call, intended to be an April Fools’ joke.

Wallace was arrested for inducing panic and making false alarms.
