Comedian and all around talent Anthony Anderson, who stars in the upcoming Horror movie “Scream 4”, has an idea for his friend Ice Cube’s next role: Horror movie hero. Ice Cube and Anthony Anderson both starred in “Barbershop” the super successful parody of urban babershops. Anderson recently told Keith Murphy of theboombox.com this:
“I would love to see Cube in a horror flick, I think it would be interesting to see him come out of that tough-guy persona,” the 40-year-old actor states. “He’s great to work with and Cube has that West Coast swag. And he has that attitude. I would love to see how he would handle being chased by one of those crazy killers in a scene.”
I think Ice Cube might have that been there done that attitude about horror movies. After all he did star opposite Jennifer Lopez in “Anaconda”. But to Anthony Anderson’s point, he did play that role very well. Stay tuned and hopefully we will hear what Cube has to say about a possible Horror role.
