Berea hit with city-wide blackout

BEREA, Ohio – The city of Berea was hit with a blackout across the city Thursday morning, according to the Berea Police Department.
The power outage is limited to the Berea area, as there are less than 2,000 residents without power in Cuyahoga County, according to the FirstEnergy outage map.
The power went out around 6 a.m., and the cause of the outage is unknown.
