R. Kelly was supposed to perform last night at the Landmark Theater in Richmond, Virginia. However, he had to cancel due to illness. The customers who purchased tickets will be refunded.

While R. Kelly is in the midst of his Love Letter tour and dealing with illness, he is now facing a $2.9 million foreclosure on his Chicago mansion. Along with many other Americans, R. Kelly is faced with the possibility of losing his home.

Allan Mayer, R. Kelly’s spokesmen, insists that he is not in financial trouble. In an effort to force the bank to modify his loan, R. Kelly has not paid his mortgage since June 2010.

J.P. Morgan Chase Bank filed the lawsuit last month in Cook County Circuit Court. They are also saying that the $2.9 million does not include unpaid interest. His original loan was for $3.5 million in 1999, making his monthly payments $24,345.12.

Hopefully R. Kelly will handle the situation with the bank and get well soon so he can continue his Love Letter Tour.
