The Bishop T.D. Jakes and Tracey Edmonds romantic-comedy “Jumping the Broom” was a hit in theaters and will likely continue its success when it hits stores tomorrow, August 9.

The film was directed by Salim Akil from a story by Elizabeth Hunter and a screenplay by Elizabeth Hunter and Arlene Gibbs.
This movie follows the families of Sabrina Watson and Jason Taylor, who clash throughout the weekend of the couples wedding because of his downtown upbringing and her uptown raising.
