LYNDHURST, OH (WOIO) –
Tense moments in Lyndhurst after the Giant Eagle in Legacy Village was evacuated.
Customers and employees were forced to leave the grocery store around 9AM because of a freon leak.
Crews quickly contained the situation, and the store reopened at 10AM.
Two employees were transported to Hillcrest Hospital for precautionary reasons. No customers required any treatment.
The cause of the leak remains under investigation.
