ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) –
A 54-year-old Elyria man slapped with charges after giving his stepson a baseball bat beatdown.
It happened on Wednesday shortly after 3:30PM at a home on Howe Street.
Police say Bobby Matheney got into an argument with his 33-year-old stepson, Bradley Fussi, and hit him on the head with an aluminum baseball bat.
EMS rushed Fussi to the hospital for the intense bleeding from the laceration on his forehead. He is expected to fully recover.
Matheney is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence, and is being held without bond pending his initial court appearance.
