EUCLID, OH (WOIO) – –

Euclid police say two men robbed a female driver, after ramming into her car.

It happened on Tuesday, September 20th around 2:30 p-m. Police say the victim was driving westbound on Fox Avenue, when the suspects pulled onto the road from a driveway and slammed into her near Clearview Drive.

One suspect approached the woman on foot and punched her several times, while she was sitting behind the wheel of her car.

As that was happening, the second suspect appeared at her passenger door and grabbed her purse.

Both suspects then fled southbound on foot through a nearby apartment complex towards the area of East 232nd Street and Babbitt Road.

Police searched the area but did not locate the suspects.  The suspect’s vehicle was recovered at the scene of the robbery.

Police later learned that the red Neon had been reported stolen by its owner.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Euclid Police Department Detective Bureau at (216) 289-8505.
