CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

Unions and community groups joined massive protests against Wall Street greed. A handful of demonstrators began the movement they call “Occupy Wall Street” last month – and it’s been growing ever since.

Now, Cleveland has joined the movement to rail against corporate greed. Over 100 people showed up to take part in “Occupy Cleveland” Thursday afternoon at the Free Stamp downtown. From there, protestors plan to march to Public Square in a show of solidarity.

The group’s been teaming up with unions and other city leaders hoping to make a real statement here in Cleveland. Protestors are upset over social inequality, bank bailouts and corporate greed.

Other such protests are popping up all over the country, activists vowing to continue their demonstrations throughout the fall and winter.
